Google Earth is a free application you can download from Google. It presents you with a globe, which you can rotate and zoom in/out of. Built using satellite images you're basically getting an atlas but with the ability to zoom in and see the earth as you would from satellite images.

The question is of course, how does it benefit Movie Locations Guide? Well as we've found out ourselves it can be a very expensive process going and visiting these famous movie locations. The next best thing is obviously viewing pictures of the locations, but in instances where there's no photos what do you do? Use Google Earth Movie Location links provided by Movie Locations Guide of course.

If you've already got google earth all you have to do is click the Google Earth link next to each location. At this point you'll get asked if you want to download the file or open it from it's current location. For ease we recommend opening from current location, that way if we make any updates they'll be corrected next time you download. But once you've clicked the link and the PC has downloaded the file, opening the file will automatically load Google Earth and Zoom into display that location.
